Proximty to Russia equals Foreign Policy Street Cred

Okay, it was one thing when the one guy on Fox News said this exact same line, but now Cindy McCain repeats it? While talking to my friend (and yours probably) Wulf, he made a good point, "Obama has some then also. Illinois is close to Canada."

And continuing that chain of thought - Bush lived in Texas, near Mexico (which actually has attacked the US several times thru our history) and we see what kind of super policy experience and judgment he's had. :P

  2. You missed the second half of the interview. She said she realized how big of a threat Russia is because it is so big.

  3. Oh snap. You're right damn I'm too sleepy.

Off to bed, got another parade early in the morning.

I would totally vote for John McCain right now if he pledged to make it illegal to have a parade before 1pm in the afternoon.

  5. There were rumors going around that Obama was coming to our church this morning. Cornerstone Harvest Church is probably the most ethnically diverse church in Lima. He ended up going to St. Lukes, a Lutheran church, instead. Even though I'm not an Obama supporter, it would have been kinda neat to attend a church service with a presidential candidate.

It was a great message this morning too. It was partially about the importance and authority we have by the words we speak. Maybe not the best message for any politician to have to sit through. : )

  6. Apparently this was the FIRST time in 50 years that a Democratic Presidential candidate has come to Lima. Wowsers.

  10. *Yawn*

Honestly, according to the Republicans, I'm not so afraid of her being a heartbeat away from running the country as I am of the fact her void in Alaska could destabilize that whole region. I mean who else will take up the mantle of changing the whole system up there while sucking up our tax dollars to do it.

Who else is going to fire people who they disagree with.

And who's going to go out on patrol with the Alaskan National Guard packing a machine gun and fighting back Russians and Polar Bears?

I'm deeply worried about Alaska's future at this point for several reasons.

  11. Wheee dig dig dig the more you minimize Palin the more you minimize Obama.

Maybe Obama should run for her old position. It might be good practice to get him ready for 2016. : )

After all, he has all this experience running a Campaign.

  12. I dont feel I'm minimizing her at all. I'm simply repeating what they are saying are her qualifications.

I'm sorry you feel that minimizes her.

  13. I'm talking about your sarcasm about her void destabilizing the region. Meh, nevermind.
