Vote Ohio!

I hope all my friends here in Ohio get out and vote today. Polls are open until 7:30pm tonight.

If you dont know where you should go and vote, or dont know if you're registered, call your local Board of Elections and ask.

And if you live in St. Marys, in the precinct 4a, make sure to vote for me!

Yes I am on the ballot! WOOT! I'm running for the 4a Chair on the Democratic Central Committee. Check out the pic, it's official and everything. :)

  1. I thought you were getting away from the political scene in order to save your sanity.

I give up. We're all going to die next month anyway when they fire up the LHC and that cute little baby black hole sucks up all the air.

    Way to go science!

  2. Wheee! I don't think I have ever walked away from voting feeling so empty and unaccomplished. Blah.

  3. I think all Huckabee voters feel that way.

  4. Hey, that was dirty.... : P

I was originally going for Romney - too bad Huckabee spoiled it for him by pulling a Ross Perot. Ugh.

Actually, I felt unaccomplished because NO ONE on the ballet makes me feel the least bit confident about our leadership over the next 4 years. Blech. You may disagree with Bush's policies, but at least he has stuck to what he believes is right, even in the face of overwhelming criticism.

I think I realized this morning why Obama is getting so much support. As far as I can see the only thing he really has going for him is that he is good at making speeches, which is one of Bush's biggest weaknesses. Seems to me like people just want someone in office that'll give them a warm fuzzy, regardless of whether they actually do anything. Just my opinion I guess, but the guy doesn't have much of a track record, and it seems like the WAY he says things has overshadowed WHAT he says. I mean, for real... Have you ever actually analyzed what he says? He talks in friggin circles all the time.

Honestly, I would much rather see Hillary in office. At least you'd know what you're getting... And the disaster that would become of her term would really wake folks up to how backwards her whole Socialist NEEDY policies really are when you lay them next to the fundamental principles that made our country the best place in the world to live. It would create the perfect conditions for a new Reagan Conservative to come in and clean house.

BTW Cory, stop undressing me with your eyes. Your avatar freaks me out. Haha!

  5. Bush doesn't stand by what he believes. He's completely ignorant of the world around him. Hell, he was completely dumbstruck when a reporter asked him what he thought about the price of gas going up to $4/gal this year. He hadn't even heard that.

The man is a bumbling idiot.

  6. Not to get into a huge lengthy debate with you on politics, but Reagan was not a great president either.

I mean they all had their faults and strengths. But I guess he was okay, I mean he did bail out Social Security, fired air traffic controllers who were legally striking and sold arms to Iran. I mean, yeah that guy was fucking awesome.

Oh and he illegally attacked Nicaragua, visited a ceremony and had a wreath laid at the grave of some Nazi SS troopers (saying they were as much victims as the Jews in the camps), tried to weaponize space, arming Iraq, attacked Grenada and pulled all our Marines out of Lebanon after they were bombed with no rebuke.

Talk about a guy who can make great speeches and not back them up and didnt have that big of a political history before running.

And just for keeping this all nice and on topic, I promise to only undress you with my eyes down to your underwear.

  8. I don't think he's an idiot at all. He just really sucks at communicating, and comes off awkward. But it's all a matter of interpretation I guess. The fact we haven't had another 9/11 with Bush in the white house, and that alone is a good enough reason for me to have some sort of faith in his leadership. Anyone who thinks we aren't being targeted now more than ever is truly and completely ignorant about the world around them.

Cory - I'm not saying Obama is bad just because he doesn't have a track record, but that along with the fact that he is as vague as a friggin cheap fortune cookie scares the crap out of me.

And I'm not wearing any underwear by the way. You need new contacts?
