A Night of Arts

Tonight is a Night of the Arts at Edison. It starts around 6pm in the gallery and will last till 8pm. At 7pm myself and other members of the cast of Hamlet '08 will be performing a scene from the play to generate interest in the production. If you are in the area stop by. There will be an exhibit of various hats used throughout the many plays that have been put on thru the years at the school, as well as poetry, prose and free muffins.

It will be neat to perform a scene in front of an actual audience. I'm super excited about the play coming up. My costume is nearing completion and all my lines are learned (close to 500 of them). There's still a lot of work to do and frankly I'm exhausted.

I wake up around 6:30 in the morning, leave for work between 7 and 7:30, work until 4pm and then if I'm lucky come home for an hour and then go to school. Some days I go straight down to school for rehearsal and then arrive back at home around midnight and am asleep by about 1 or 1:30. This weekend we'll be finishing a lot more of the set pieces (which I have been made the unofficial head of). So that's cool. I really enjoy the behind the scenes work as well as the acting portion of it. I'm so excited for this to all come together, but I will be glad when its' over as well so I can have some free time again - especially with GTA4 coming out. *drool*
