Diet starts today
Wooo! Subway here I come. :P
No Balls to read this post!
This weekend a bunch of us went and watch Erastus rock the house at Duckfoots and during the night we started spreading the "No balls" stuff around. I told a guy "no balls" to knock down the big beer can tower. Then we got a big "No balls" chant started when he went over to do it.
So if the whole "No balls" thing catches on nationwide, you can thank us for that - and more specifically one Michael Wulfhorst.

My art + their skin = 4EVAHz
So I drew him up a wicked Grim Reaper shoulder piece. The Reaper was holding his scythe above his head and flipping a boney middle finger. The guy loved it and went off and got it tattooed. I was amazed when he came back to see my drawing on his arm.
Drawing is a lot like handwriting. You can recognize your own handwriting almost instantly. Even though you dont pay exact attention to the curve on your "r's" or how you cross your "t's", you still know it from staring at it all the time. So when I saw the tattoo on his arm I could see it as my drawing even if no one else ever knew me or knew I did it - I would recognize it on him till the day I die.
That's a real amazing thing about having your art on someone's skin. It's an incredible feeling of memorializing your own work on a canvas that will last for 1000's of years. More important though it's humbling to know that someone enjoyed what you created so much and it spoke to them in such a strong way that they want to display it for the rest of their life.
Since that first tattoo back in high school I now (as of today) have 3 more pieces of work on people. One guy from work and the shop girl at the tattoo shop I go to recently got a voodoo doll/angel on her leg.
What's even cooler about this one is that he kept my lettering on the banner on the right. I just put it on there to measure the spacing, but he liked it enough to keep it. So that's my handwriting too.

Here's a view of the original voodoo doll drawing that she used for her tattoo.

My art ass Part 2
The whole class went thru each homework and discussed it and mine was last. Everyone by then seemed pretty comfortable about it and we discussed the positioning and tonal value, etc. It was rather obtuse having everyone stare at a nude of me and discuss it as a art piece.
After class the teacher, myself and the in-class model all walked out and discussed it and they were both pretty impressed that I was bold enough to try that and said it was great. We discussed a self-nude the teacher had done for an exhibition and how weird that was for her and just nudity and the human form as it relates to art in general.
It's odd that she has a naked picture of me in her portfolio to take home to grade. I'm glad I did it. I try to challenge myself with each home assignment and couldnt get a good idea on how to push this one artistically so I decided to push my personal boundaries instead. Then again I'm not ashamed to show off my ass to anyone, so maybe that boundary wasnt really pushed.

I dont know if it's art, but ...
For this week's art homework we had to do another self-portrait. It was to be a full body relaxed pose. The instructions were for a basic outline and contour - paying attention to line usage specifically with no shading. Last class period our teacher made a specific point to say she wanted to see the body's contour so not to wear baggy clothes when doing the work. Someone jokingly said, should we do it nude? And she laughed and said "Sure if you want. I would never ask, or require someone to do that. But that would be best for the work." She also said it would be okay to do some shading and finish work on it but didnt want to require it and make the project seem more time consuming.
So I took that as a challenge and posed nude for myself and sketched and shaded myself including my ass. Tonight is the turn-in night, it will be interesting for sure. Part of our homework turn-in is that we hang all of our works on the wall and the whole class with the teacher goes thru each one and critiques the work.
So my ass will be out for everyone to see tonight. :) Should prove very fun.

Linksys WRT54G v4 and Two XBOX 360s
Set XBOX 360 #1 to the static address of .102
Set XBOX 360 #2 to the static address of .103
Set the DMZ in the router for the .102 address of the first XBOX 360.
Forwarded the following ports on the router to .1 on both UDP and TCP (the router itself not the other XBOX 360 or it wont work):
Port 88
Port 3074
His version of the router doesnt have an UPnP option and cant be updated to a hacked firmware to help out. But this worked with no problem. Now both 360's can voice chat and host and join any games.

It's never really done.
I got some more ink last night. This shoulder's got about $500 worth of ink on it right now and it's pretty much done. I still need to blend it in later with my other stuff, but as it stands right now it's done.
It's still really fresh in this picture, so you can see some blood and the colors havent all blended like they will look when it's healed. But it's fucking AMAZING.

Lewis Black sums up John McCain
From The Progressive:Q: Speaking about South Carolina, what about McCain?
Black: He gave up the ghost. He had his shot but Bush beat him senseless in South Carolina and now he has put his tongue so far up Bush’s ass it’s incredible. I can’t trust someone like that. If you want the Presidency that much, you don’t get it. On top of that, this kowtowing has allowed him to lose all of those things that made him interesting to both sides.

Neighboring businesses in Jesus vs. Satan spat
Posted: April 3, 2007
1:00 a.m. Eastern
Some might call them "signs" of the Last Days.
Two neighboring businesses that share a parking lot are locked in a dispute pitting Jesus and Satan against each other, with each posting streetside signs asking passers-by to honk for their favorite.
The first shot in the spiritual warfare now underway in a small shopping plaza in Naugatauck, Conn., began when Claudette Soden, a devout Christian and owner of Photos Onto DVD, posted a sign at the front of the parking lot proclaiming, "Easter: Beep for Christ."
For Soden, who told the Waterbury Republican-American Jesus is her "partner in business," the sign was just an opportunity for her to express her faith.
The sign not only drew beeps from drivers, it drew the attention of Phil Young who works next door at No Regrets, a tattooing and body piercing shop that's been operating since 2003.
Young put his artistic skills to work and posted his own sign next to Soden's.
"Honk twice for...," reads the sign, with a caricature of a red devil painted beneath the text.
Young, who insists he's not a satanist, says he doesn't want his clients, who come from a variety of religious backgrounds, to associate Soden's message with his business.
"My main point is that we share a parking lot, and what goes on in this parking lot represents not only hers, but both shops," he told the Republican-American. "What she does inside her business is her business. I would not tell her to get rid of the sign.
"More people have been killed in the name of God than over anything else, and so I don't think people should fight about religion," he said. "Satan is part of the same religion as Christ, so it's a contrast, not a competing religion."
Whether it can be called a fight about religion or not, both businesses say they won't remove their signs.
"His sign is not bothering me, but I know it's bothering Jesus," Soden said. "And children are going to pass by that sign and say, 'What is that? It looks like a devil.' And what are parents going to say to that?"

Bush Cant Wait
So today, Bush tried to up pressure on congressional Democrats on the Iraq supplemental.
This morning at his Rose Garden press conference, President Bush highlighted this new gambit, saying it has been 57 days since he sent Congress his funding request. If Congress fails to act soon, Bush said, “the price of that failure will be paid by our troops and their loved ones."
Think Progress digs up the response times of the Republican congress the last two years Bush requested an Iraq supplemental spending bill:
During the reign of the Do-Nothing 109th Congress, Bush submitted two major supplemental spending requests. Each request experienced a delay far more than 57 days with hardly a peep of anger from the Commander-In-Chief. Details below:
February 14, 2005: Bush submits $82 billion supplemental bill
May 11, 2005: Bush signs the supplemental
Total time elapsed: 86 daysFebruary 16, 2006: Bush submits $72 billion supplemental bill
June 15, 2006: Bush signs the supplemental
Total time elapsed: 119 daysAfter the 119 day delay, Bush did not say an “irresponsible” Congress had “undercut the troops” or that military families had “paid the price of failure.” Instead, Bush told the conservative-led Congress, “I applaud those Members of Congress who came together in a fiscally responsible way to provide much-needed funds for the War on Terror.”
Bush is truly a silly, silly man.
